Laban dance and health training is now done and dusted. I have been travelling down to London for 4 sessions now, and as much I also thoroughly enjoy them and learn a lot (and love the chance to go to other dance classes too), I will be relieved not to be adding in a trip to London at the end of a working week back to start teaching in the highlands again for the following Monday.
It has been brilliant to discuss how to approach classes with older adults, people with brain injuries/disabilities/mental health issues and dance classes in hospital contexts. Learning has been done through practical class examples as well as group discussions and I can’t wait to have a go at putting what I have learnt into practice.

I feel some dance class inspiration coming on……
