Kathryn Spence
2 Sands of Sound, Lerwick, Shetland, ZE1 0SZ
My Objective
I am a community arts facilitator/creator/performer specialising in dance (although incorporating all art forms) from the Shetland Islands. I wish to create and encourage creativity.
My community and outreach work goes on the belief that I am interested in making art with anyone regardless of age or ability. I work inclusively and strive to combine professional and outreach work in my practice. I believe the arts should be an opportunity for all. I enjoy working internationally and enjoy looking at what material our different cultures provide us with and how these can fit together to allow the arts as an international language for all of us.
I enjoy team management as well as organising and delivering projects and regard organisation of upmost importance allowing constant delivery of a high standard, as well as collaboration and communication between projects.
