It was a real pleasure to be part of the rehearsal and development week for Katie Milroy Dance’s Curated Moments.
They then got invited to perform at Dundee Rep Theatre, as part of Scottish Dance Theatre’s ACT show.
This evening had a political focus, encouraging audience members to ACT on things they felt passionately about.
We performed the first section outside, as audience were coming in to the Theatre. It was great to see people’s expressions as they watched, slightly taken off guard by the dance starting outside the theatre before the show. Please see video here
There was then a duet at the interval and we finished the show with the 5 dancer piece on stage. It is an energetic piece, and a joy to perform! Please see video here
“Perhaps fittingly for a show inspired by riots, a work which started out on the street had the most impact. Split into three sections, Curated Moments by choreographer Katie Milroy book-ended the show, and served as interval entertainment in the foyer. A struggle for inner peace consumed five dancers” Kelly Apter – The Scotsman
Thank you for having me Katie. Excited to see where these Curated Moments go next!
