A day off in Venice

How lucky did I feel to find out I had a day off from dancing and could easily catch a train to the glorious city of Venice itself! I had a great day exploring and wandering. It was so refreshing for there to be no motor vehicles in sight!!

Apart from the day off, Venice exploring shenanigans, I taught a group of English teenagers. We had limited time to explore both dance and drama, but being somewhere new really encouraged me to try out new teaching ideas. The girls were great, and I also enjoyed the insight to what they were up to- they were at the age that they have to decide what they want to study at university, and so many were so unsure, but I’m sure we will get some dancers out of them yet!!
